MG MGBGT, WITH OVERDRIVE, IN SUPERB CONDTION.

 

This 1974 MGB GT in Snowberry White was manufactured in September 1974 and dispatched to University Motors Ltd, London the same month. Registered early 1975. The Heritage Certificate that accompanies the car shows that it was fitted with Overdrive and Chrome wire wheels. University Motor Group were the original MG dealers in the UK. It comes with a very large history folder of invoices and pictures showing major restoration work in 2018/ 19 and alot of mechanical work in 2024/ 25. significant expenditure over the last two years since purchase from a high end classic dealer , including engine refurbishment, new tyres, new wire wheels and work on the overdrive unit and brakes inc vented discs , master cylinder etc. All hoses replaced and all fluids replaced. Thermo electric fan. Full stainless exhaust . Battery cut off switch. Chrome mesh style grille. This GT is not only cosmetically excellent it has been maintained to an excellent standard too. It drives lovely. The interior is largely original spec and again in great condition in Black and Red .. opening rear 1/ 4 lites. Stainless sill plates . Polished Moto-Lita steering wheel . All the bright work is excellent . Engine bay is super clean with no evidence of leaks or fluid residue anywhere. All in all this is an excellent classic and inexpensive considering the previous price it was sold for and expenditure since.
