1972 TRIUMPH TR6 – FUEL INJECTED – STUNNING RESTORATION, AND OF SHOW STANDARD!

 

This car has undergone a total restoration, with a 25 part documentary YouTube series detailing the rebuild from the start to finish. Never before have we seen such a detailed history into the total rebuild . Its a programme in itself and shows the highs and lows and amount of effort and money gone into this build . Amazing!, and well done to previous owner. You will see how the owner went above and beyond and spared no expense in the pursuit to get it right .?The following is a quick list, but not an extensive one, of the work carried out?All four wings have been replaced with top-quality used ones that were rust-free?All rust on bodywork cut out and new plates butt welded in place?All old under seal removed from wheel arches (to reveal any rust) and stone chip coating applied and finished with paint?All rubber bushes on front and rear suspension replaced?New brake master and slave cylinders fitted?Front calipers rebuilt?New clutch master and slave fitted?Cylinder head went off to a machine shop to have new hardened valve seats, stem guides and skimmed in preparation for unleaded fuel?New seals and diaphragms fitted to metering unit?Electronic ignition with high performance leads and coil?New water pump and timing chain?New stainless steel bumpers?New mohair hood?New Leather seats?New interior panels and carpets with additional sound deadening?New stainless steel exhaust?New front lights?Just been resprayed throughout in gorgeous Mimosa Yellow?The list goes on and on… to really see what's been done to this car, skim through the YouTube series. This is far better documentation than any restoration album?The Chassis was totally rot free so has been protected with a 3 in one coating
New overdrive unit. We will install a new MOT as the car has been rebuilt as an added check and peace of mind.
 

Plus loads more ! ?This is an original UK RHD car and it drives fantastically with steering and brakes etc all sorted. Engine bay is detailed to a high standard and worthy to have bonnet up at any show. The wheels etc are all new and shod with new radials.
