Truimph TR3A, 1960 in Midnight blue.  Excellent condition.

 

TR3A 1960. This TR3A had a  rebuild in 2017. Then shortly after this restoration due to illness in 2017 the car was put into storage. The car is Midnight Blue with Tan Hide interior.  It is fitted with new soft top, new stainless steel wire wheels, new tyres, new chrome bumpers(£500), newly covered seats and new side screens. The engine was running poorly after years of no use, so we have sent to a professional engine builder. The engine has had a full rebuild, including pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, valves, timing gears and chain, waterpump, etc etc . We then while stripped rebuilt the cylinder head with new valves etc. Also we have rebuilt the brakes, renewed some wiring, new gearbox and engine mounts etc . We have really gone to town to give this car another lease of life. This invoice is in the history file and shows approx £9000 spent by us alone. Only test miles done since. A full detailed invoice is in the file. We have also put on all new badges inc a matching Navy/ chrome nose cone badge, new period number plates with stainless surrounds. The Navy paintwork is very good with no rust issues at all. All the chrome work is very good. The hood and side screens are excellent being new. There is a pair of period Lucas spot lamps but these are not yet wired. There is also the addition of a luggage rack which is handy for touring. Part ex welcome for similar standard cars. Trailered transport offered at cost . NB this car before all this work was for sale for £24950, after 9k spent we are seeking only 1k more than its original price.
