MGB ROADSTER BRG, W/OVERDRIVE – EXCELLENT RESTORED CONDITION.

 

MGB Roadster BRG for sale. 1971 with optional overdrive.
We are having to travel far and wide to find very nice examples but fortunately this one came up to our standards.

In British racing green this restored roadster really looks the part. With 15inch Chrome wire wheels shod with quality radials that have not covered many miles at all. The paintwork is very good indeed with no issues at all. The chrome work everywhere is in superb order. The car is very straight indeed. The underside is equally as impressive being super clean. Everything underneath has been replaced or refurbed. Including a new stainless exhaust, rear leaf springs , entire fuel system, all brakes etc etc.

There is the addition of a period stainless boot rack which really sets it off. Also included is a full half zip tonneau cover, and a half tonneau cover for when the roof is folded down. The roof itself is in excellent condition. In the fully carpeted boot which is immaculate there is a single 12 volt battery mounted for easy access while on trickle charge etc, instead of the standard 2 6 volts. There is also a wire spare wheel and the usual tools etc. The interior again is immaculate with all new trim and wool carpets. There is the addition of a couple of extra period correct gauges. This is an overdrive optioned MG which is working just as it should. Under the bonnet again super clean. Both the engine and gearbox have had a full rebuild during restoration and both a performing very well. This car since being restored has only been used on dry days for shows etc. Kept in very good storage when not in use. On the road the car drives very well and no faults at all have been noted. The history file is huge with many many receipts for work carried out. The last BRG Roadster we had lasted 24 hours for sale, I think this may follow suit. Getting hard to find in this condition.
